How quota works

Simple maths, no surprises.

Metered in minutes.

One hour of audio uses sixty minutes of your monthly quota. Standard transcription charges 1× audio duration.

Pro mode charges 2×.

Re-running a transcription in Pro mode consumes twice the minutes of the audio. You opt in per file — never automatic.

Refreshes monthly.

Your quota refreshes every month on the day you signed up — even on annual plans. Uploads that would exceed your remaining quota are blocked up front, so there are no overage surprises.

Common questions

Things people ask before signing up.

Not on a normal monthly renewal — each month is a fresh quota at the same cap. They do roll over when you change plans: any unused minutes move into a bonus pool that you keep, regardless of which plan you switch to.

Uploads that would exceed your remaining quota are blocked before they start. There are no overage charges. Either upgrade to a larger plan or wait for the monthly reset.

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your dashboard. We bill the prorated difference on the day of the change.

Audio and transcripts are stored on Hetzner Object Storage in Falkenstein, Germany. Encrypted in transit. Files are never used to train models. Delete from your dashboard at any time.
