How quota works

Simple maths, no surprises.

Metered in minutes.

One hour of audio uses sixty minutes of your monthly quota. Standard transcription charges 1× audio duration.

Pro mode charges 2×.

Re-running a transcription in Pro mode consumes twice the minutes of the audio. You opt in per file — never automatic.

Resets monthly.

Quota resets at midnight UTC on the first of every calendar month. Files that would exceed the remaining quota are blocked up front — never billed as an overage surprise.

No. Each calendar month is a fresh quota. We’d rather give you a generous tier than a complicated rollover scheme.

Uploads that would exceed your remaining quota are blocked before they start. There are no overage charges. Either upgrade to a larger plan or wait for the monthly reset.

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your dashboard. We bill the prorated difference on the day of the change.

Audio and transcripts are stored on Hetzner Object Storage in Falkenstein, Germany. Encrypted in transit. Files are never used to train models. Delete from your dashboard at any time.
